Movement in a circle is a very common movement. It's characteristics, though, are a little different than regular linear movement. First of all, an object's speed can remain constant even though it is perpetually accelerating. Uniform circular motion is connected to several areas of physics, including gravitation, magnetism, and dynamics.
In this lesson, you'll learn how to calculate uniform circular motion as well as gain an understanding of how an object's speed and acceleration behave under uniform circular motion.
