Naturally, when a small group of people are solely responsible for the creation of a certain amount
of content, some stuff is going to get missed. I know there are questions out there that are not answered

To balance these equations, first balance the number of atoms on each side of the equation. For example, #14:
Al(OH)3 + H2CO3 ---> AL2(CO3)3 + H2O
Since there are twice as many aluminums on the right side, put a 2 before AL(OH)3
2 Al(OH)3 + H2CO3 ---> AL2(CO3)3 + H2O
and you have 3x as many carbonate ions on the right side, so put a three before H2CO3
2 Al(OH)3 + 3 H2CO3 ---> AL2(CO3)3 + H2O
now, you have 6 OH-'s and 6 H+s which come together to make 6 H2Os.
2 Al(OH)3 + 3 H2CO3 ---> AL2(CO3)3 + 6 H2O
voila. a properly balanced chemical equation.
